Summer program a HUGE success!!!

The Easterby Reading program was another success this summer! We had an average of 15-20 kids and 15 volunteers.  The majority of the kids were returners from last year. We as volunteers had a wonderful time investing in their lives and building relationships.  Not only did we read, but we also learned Wushu (Chinese martial arts), how to tightrope, and how to make an effective paper airplane. The Impact of Painting Curbs

Bike Repair Day @ Easterby Elementary

You would have thought we were having a BMX bike show there were so many bikes lined up at Easterby Elementary for Bike Repair Day. Following after our sister campus, Susan B. Anthony Elementary, the Easterby Saturday Sports team decided to host a Bike Repair Day and a BBQ. What a huge success! The team of guys fixed over 30 bikes throughout the day! Neighborhood Day

On Saturday, September 26th, over 60 people from The Well, Fresno Pacific and Sunnyside High School came out to serve in the community and get to know their neighbors.  We saw more than 100 kids at Saturday Sports that morning!  That’s a ton of new faces that were able to get connected with our Saturday Sports team!  Parents, teachers and even the principal came out to have lunch with us.  One mom was walking by the food table with her kids, who asked if they could stay…
