Good Shepherd Lutheran has been serving Roeding Elementary School since May 2010, but hot chocolate only since this past Saturday! I think the hot cocoa may come out more often, as it was a “big hit”. It’s really as simple as that. Hot Cocoa.
Well, ok…add some Play Doh, bracelets, and flag football into the mix and you have what every kid would consider an awesome Saturday morning! In fact, some kids consider it so awesome that, in anticipation…

Can I be honest with you? I just typed a really long blog that I decided was not good enough for our faithful blog followers…and it did no justice to Dr. Gale Gorke and her FANTASTIC 20/Twenty equipping event this past Saturday! How does one begin to summarize or even explain such wonderful and plentiful information gathered (…and put into practice as you will see) by both ENP and Encourage Tomorrow volunteers?
Gale has nearly 30 years of experience…

A few guys playing flag football on a Saturday morning turned into something pretty awesome!
In late fall, Justin & Brett decided to send out a Facebook invite and mass text message to a bunch of their friends and invite them to play a game of flag football at Buchanan High School on a Saturday morning. They decided to add a charitable component to the game and invited each guy there to contribute a one time donation for a special end of the year project. They decided to collect money to…

As we are in the cold and flu season, this is the perfect time to supply each classroom with these items. And usually, teachers end up paying for these things out of their own pocket so this will be an added blessing to them so they can use that money for their own…
