On Saturday, May 14th, more than 275 people from The Bridge spent the morning loving and blessing the Pyle Elementary campus and creating a very memorable day for the kids and families in the neighborhood. The principal, vice principal, and plant manager were overwhelmed with joy and gratefulness for all that was being done to make their campus more beautiful!

Friends Community Church began their partnership with Eaton Elementary in 2010 and wanted to start slowly with classroom volunteering. They have 7 people this year who help out on campus. Some work directly with the students, some help correct papers or copy things off for the teachers and there are those who just love bringing in treats for the staff.

A sea of yellow shirts filled the streets surrounding the Mary Ella Brown Neighborhood Center on Saturday, April 30th. It was a "Big Neighborhood Clean Up" and many from the community came out to support the effort. Habitat for Humanity and United One Productions organized this event along with ENP who coordinated the projects.

Spring Break week in Fresno was much more than a week off! There were 11 camps for kids at school sites and parks throughout the city, with more than 200 volunteers serving 1050 hours in a variety of activities and projects.
Several jr high and high school groups spent the week on a "local mission trip", hosting sports camps in the morning and working on projects in the afternoon. Afternoon projects included work at Poverello House, the Boys and Girls Club and planting flowers…

Several organizations joined forces for a fun-filled day in the Hidalgo Neighborhood on Saturday. "World Impact", "Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back to Life", "Central Fresno Weed & Seed" and "Every Neighborhood Partnership" came together to encourage families to come out and enjoy the day with their neighbors. It's hard to know where to begin! So much was accomplished on the campus at Addams and in the neighborhood on Saturday, April 2nd, as hundreds of volunteers from Northwest Church set out to say "WE CARE ABOUT YOU!" The message came through loud and clear!

On Saturday, April 2nd, hundreds of people from Northwest Church will be serving on the campus of Addams Elementary School and working on projects in the surrounding neighborhood. About 140 people gathered at R.O.C.C. Church in central Fresno this past weekend. The purpose of the two day conference was to help people see our city in a new way. Lowell students and their families were invited to a day of planting flowers and cleaning up flower beds on campus. They worked alongside the Lowell staff for a morning filled with digging, planting, raking and sweeping.
It was great to see so many smiling faces and eager hands making the campus look more like spring.
