Neighborhood Day in SE Fresno

On Saturday, September 26th, over 60 people from The Well, Fresno Pacific and Sunnyside High School came out to serve in the community and get to know their neighbors.  We saw more than 100 kids at Saturday Sports that morning!  That’s a ton of new faces that were able to get connected with our Saturday Sports team!  Parents, teachers and even the principal came out to have lunch with us.  One mom was walking by the food table with her kids, who asked if they could stay and have some food.  The mom told the kids no, because they didn’t have the money to pay for it.  Their faces lit up when they were told it was free because “we just wanted to bless the kids and parents at Easterby!”

And that doesn’t even hit on the five work projects that were done at that day, at Easterby, Raintree Convalescent Home and The Reading Program House!  It was a great day all around, and this won’t be the last!  We are going to keep talking about seeing our neighborhood and world through God’s eyes, because Jesus is big and His love is real!
