Spring Break week in Fresno was much more than a week off! There were 11 camps for kids at school sites and parks throughout the city, with more than 200 volunteers serving 1050 hours in a variety of activities and projects.
Several jr high and high school groups spent the week on a "local mission trip", hosting sports camps in the morning and working on projects in the afternoon. Afternoon projects included work at Poverello House, the Boys and Girls Club and planting flowers at a local school.

One group did clean-up and maintenance at three different city parks. Another team painted the interior of R.O.C.C. Church during the afternoon after hosting a camp for neighborhood kids in the mornings. On Friday they held a BBQ for the kids and invited the neighbors.
It was a great week - a lot of people gave up their vacation to spend time making it a memorable week for a lot of kids.
