A sea of yellow shirts filled the streets surrounding the Mary Ella Brown Neighborhood Center on Saturday, April 30th. It was a "Big Neighborhood Clean Up" and many from the community came out to support the effort. Habitat for Humanity and United One Productions organized this event along with ENP who coordinated the projects.

Cargill Meats came out in force with more than 300 of their employees volunteering to clean up the streets and spread mulch and also provided the meat for the BBQ.
They are already talking about more neighborhood projects that they can be a part of, because this is THEIR neighborhood too, and they want to make an ongoing investment that community.
Many other businesses and organizations were represented as well, including Kraft Foods, Building Healthy Communities, New Vision Church, Hispanic Business Student Association, Youth Leadership Institute, The Center for Multi-Cultural Cooperation and of course the City of Fresno!
At the end of the morning everyone returned to the Mary Ella Brown Center where volunteers and neighbors gathered for a BBQ - the weather couldn't have been more beautiful!
. . .
Thanks Sabrina for all your hard work in putting this day together, and to ALL the volunteers who made this day a success!
