It's that time again! Kids are back in school and Saturday Sports programs will soon be going on all over our city! What an exciting time of the year!
There is a huge value in the work that our local churches and organizations do with volunteers who are committed to investing in our city and in the lives of kids and families. With budget cuts in our government run programs it is even more important than ever for people to step forward and serve. There is a real need - and we are blessed to work with so many amazing people who have the ability and heart to serve.
Right now we are purchasing crayons, markers, scissors, glue and construction paper to restock craft bins, as well as replacing worn-out sports equipment.
It cost's about $250 to get a new Saturday Sports Program started and we have five new programs that will be starting up very soon. You can help one of these programs get started or maybe you would like to purchase craft supplies or sports equipment to help restock Craft Bins.
