A SWEET Weekend in Many Partnership Neighborhoods

Over the course of this past Halloween weekend our partnership teams hosted several outreaches directed toward the neighborhoods they are serving. Here’s a snapshot of the weekend:

On Saturday, the Altar Worship Center hosted a block party concert for the Yokomi neighborhood. Every one enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food and music. Not a bad combo!

Sunday saw a fun festival at Kirk Elementary hosted by Journey Church. It was a great day for everyone to enjoy in some fun and good conversation.

Monday was filled with several Harvest Festivals. Adventure Church was active in the Muir neighborhood. Sierra Heights Baptist hosted a trunk-or-treat carnival for the McCardle Community. Trinity Nazarene was serving in the Centennial neighborhood and the Biola Impact Group held a fun event for the families in their corner of the city.

All these outreaches were geared to continue their active presence in the sections of town they continually serve in, building upon the relationships that were started within their year-round outreaches.

Needless to say it was a SWEET time for everyone!
