In Her Own Words: 20/Twenty Equipping Event Recap

Can I be honest with you?  I just typed a really long blog that I decided was not good enough for our faithful blog followers…and it did no justice to Dr. Gale Gorke and her FANTASTIC 20/Twenty equipping event this past Saturday!  How does one begin to summarize or even explain such wonderful and plentiful information gathered (…and put into practice as you will see) by both ENP and Encourage Tomorrow volunteers?

Gale has nearly 30 years of experience working with students on both an elementary and secondary level, so rather than use my own fallible words to describe Saturday morning, I'd like to invite you to watch a short video clip.  I promise you will not be disappointed!

Here Gale is speaking on teaching children to problem solve and on what kind of behavior adults ought to praise.

And, here are some handouts on picking teams and another on successful activities.

Enjoy!

And, a HUGE thank you to Gale for lavishing her time and talents upon those in attendance on Saturday!

greg98765 Some people think eubacse they follow the laws they are safe. Not so. On an almost daily basis people in prison are exonerated of their crimes and released. Innocent people are routinely charged and convicted of crimes they didn't commit. Our justice system may be better than most, but it's far from perfect. My personal opinion is that Police and DAs are rewarded for closing cases, not capturing the actual committer of the crime. It's normally easier to convict the actual perpetrator of the crime, but crime is too random and the Police don't always identify the right person. The police profession also doesn't attract the best and brightest in our country. How many Police have 4 year college degrees in criminal justice or even college degrees? Most may be very capable, but it doesn't take that many less capable to convict innocent people.I'm not willing to give my constitutional rights for a false sense of security (real security, maybe). pvs16 The problem with the government (FBI, police, courts, etc...) using questionable tactics to monitor Americans for their "protection" creates a situation where the public no longer trusts nor supports our government. The powers that be must now accept the fact that many, if not most, Americans now view them as the enemy. I certainly don't feel safe anymore. I feel we are at a point where the information they gather is a mute point. If the government wanted to hurt or discredit you they could, and I'm sure would, simply make anything up and make it stick. We as Americans are the problem because we are generally so interested in sticking our noses in everyone elses life instead of minding our own affairs. Take away the governments audience and they will stop playing the "look what we caught them do" game. October 14 2011 at 2:39 PM rate up rate down levitra over the counter viagra
