Each Saturday there are between 10 and 20 Saturday Sports Programs going on at elementary school campuses throughout Fresno. Poverello House faithfully prepares breakfast burritos and sack lunches for all the children who attend (600 on an average week). ENP volunteers pick up the food at Poverello House and deliver them to the various sites. It takes about 6 volunteers each week to make these deliveries.
Most people who volunteer with ENP projects, volunteer through their partnership chuches, so we don't have many opportunities for people to volunteer directly with ENP. There are a few however, and delivering lunches is an important one.
