One evening several weeks ago about 30 people from a life group at The Well went to Pastor Jack's to do some work at his place: they installed new roofing, a few cabinets and replaced a couple doors. He was very thankful to everyone that helped out and wanted to say thank you! So he invited them all over, with their families, for an amazing mexican dinner, and a mariachi band was included!!!
It was great to spend time with Pastor Jack and his wife and the guys who live at his place. It was also a blessing for him to give back to those who helped him in such a practical way.
What a priviledge we have to invest in the lives and work of people like Pastor Jack. It's even more of a priviledge to call him our friend. And this group of people have some great memories of an amazing evening in downtown Fresno.
