For several ENP partnerships, this past weekend was the last day of Saturday Sports for this school year, and two words that best desribe the day are "FUN" and "WET". The day warmed up just enough for the kids to appreciate a few games that included water, but overall it was all about having a good time! It's exciting to see so many of the same faces each week! These kids know that when they come to Saturday Sports, they are going to have a good time, be around people who think they are awesome, and they always come back for more! Just look at the smiles on their faces . . . it's confirmation of time invested well.
This summer many of the partnerships have progams planned for the kids in the neighborhood including reading programs, week long camps, VBS, evening activities for families and movie nights. As ENP continues to grow, more neighborhoods will have partnerships, which means more people investing in some of the coolest kids you could ever meet, who thrive on a smile, a little of your time and some love and encouragment. It's about the easiest thing you could ever do - with the greatest reward!
