More than 250 people from New Harvest and R.O.C.C. spent the day working on projects in the Webster neighborhood, at Valley Teen Ranch, Poverello House and with Fresno Street Saints. Many were blessed by their service throughout our city.
Most of the teams spent the day in the Webster neighborhood doing street clean-up, curb address number painting, and a few home repair projects. One team did an amazing job in the yard of an elderly widow who was truly blessed by the love she received in the form of service and those who spent the morning at her home have found a new friend and were encouraged by the opportunity they had to help her.
Both New Harvest and R.O.C.C. serve in the Webster Neighborhood and mentor many of the children who live there. New Harvest began it's partnership with Webster nearly 8 years ago and still sets a beautiful example for other churches in our city of the importance in making a difference in the neighborhoods of Fresno.
