Our Story

In 2002, city leaders connected churches with elementary schools in central Fresno to provide students with positive role models. Volunteers built relationships with students and discovered issues like low test scores and high poverty rates. A small sports program grew into the multi-layered organization we are today that is focused on literacy, mentoring, and community outreach.

This movement led to the formation of Every Neighborhood Partnership (ENP) in 2008 to expand these efforts citywide. Inspired by Isaiah 65:17–25, ENP envisions a transformed community where people thrive together.

We are committed to a long-term, community-driven, revolutionary approach that honors human dignity and rejects current limitations

Long-Term Commitment

Permanent change and human empowerment requires a long-term commitment to people and place.

Community Driven

We must collaborate, as change requires collective effort. We do not know it all so we actively seek out voices and views of all those representing the community or neighborhood we’re serving.

Belief in People

Everyone has intrinsic dignity and value. Believing in people activates and strengthens the entire community as individuals discover their purpose and contribute value to others.

Equidad

Everyone and every neighborhood deserves the resources to thrive.
