ENP Read Fresno Partnership
ENP partners directly with local school districts to run a targeted after-school reading program led by trained mentors. This program is designed for up to 24 students at each school, selected by teachers based on their reading scores.
The goal is to help students build strong reading skills
Read Fresno (RF) Program mentors lead a targeted reading intervention program for school-selected students in rotations. Mentors meet with students in small groups of no more than a 1:5 ratio. The program is built on Orton-Gillingham principles and includes phonological awareness, systematic phonics instruction, decodable readers, and reinforcement activities.
