On this beautiful Saturday in March the kids at West Fresno's Saturday Sports went on a "field trip" and walked a few blocks for a tour of the local Recyling Center. It was a great experience as they saw where those trucks take all the trash from our blue recycling cans . . . and what they do with it after that. A great group of volunteers went along and were able to enjoy the tour along with the kids. Pretty sure everyone will think about garbage a little differently from now on, and be more careful WHAT they put in those cans! What a good oportuntiy for the kids to see people working hard at a job that may not be so glamorous, but one that is so important.
