Every person I have ever encountered who has worked for any type of system has seen some type of injustice. It makes [us] nervous to say anything, but LivingUNDIVIDED has created a space for us to be open and honest.

LivingUNDIVIDED 2023 is launching on February 27th and will take place on Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM at Butler Church. LivingUNDIVIDED is a 6-week cohort experience designed to empower individuals from churches and faith-based organizations to to change the narrative of racial justice. Communities engage in faith grounding, teaching, small group conversations, activities, and assignments in pursuit of racial solidarity and justice. If you are asking:
- Why is participating in LivingUNDIVIDED valuable?
- Why is it important for Christians to have conversations about racial justice?
- What can I expect during my first LivingUNDIVIDED session?
Jessica Criner and Jenny Plumb, LivingUNDIVIDED 2023 facilitators, answer these important questions in the powerful video below.
As a white person, I could never make [these conversations] a priority because I don’t live on the margins. I can live my whole life in this very privileged bubble… but [racial injustice] affects us all. The Gospel is a beautiful chorus, and unless you get all the voices in there, you’re not actually singing a beautiful song.

Every Neighborhood Partnership is excited to be a host of the 2023 LivingUNDIVIDED cohort alongside Saint Rest Baptist, Midtown, and Butler Church. LivingUNDIVIDED is:
- Built to promote courageous conversations that cross race and ethnicity
- A shared experience co-facilitated by trained and certified leaders and rooted in faith
- Six weeks of growing, learning, and building bridges of reconciliation
- Designed with activation in mind, it’s created to help you uncover your next steps
I felt like the LivingUNDIVIDED cohort was a space that allowed me to be heard and to be among other brothers and sisters [who] have a Gospel-centered approach.
Jessica Criner, LivingUNDIVIDED Facilitator
The Gospel is all about taking down walls of shame and bringing us together as a whole people where everyone is seen with the Imago Dei, the Image of God, in them.
