6 Ways You Can Serve Right Now

As COVID-19 continues we want to continue to share updated information about ways you can serve during this time.

Word of Caution: Take the precations you feel you need to take. We are not medical professionals, but rather trying to give you options and ways to show Jesus like compassion during these times.

1 – Help Healthcare Workers by Sewing Masks or Gowns

Local hospitals and clinics have dire needs for both masks and gowns. Drop off at ENP’s downtown office (1719 L St) and we will get them to our local hospital partners.

2 – Get Books To Kids Out of School

We will be sorting books for Reading Heart! These books will get distributed at Food Distributions, Little Free Libraries, and other locations during COVID-19. Reading Heart is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) book donation program dedicated to serving children in hospitals and children in areas with limited access to books. Sign up at ServeFresno.org (scroll down).

3 – Check On Your Neighbors

One simple way to help others is by checking in on your neighbors and making yourself available to serve. Download and print the PDF to reach out to your neighbors and give them an easy way of connecting with you.

4 – Get Food To Those That Need It

Many folks either do not have access to food or do not want to risk being exposed. Help with these two food relief programs possible! By packing and/or delivery grocery boxes for most at-risk in our community.

5 – Donate Blood

6 – Support Your Favorite Non-Profits

  • Speaking on behalf of every local and global organization you support this is a rough time. Please consider donating for the first time or in addition to already existing giving. You can support ENP here.
