Fresno residents are invited to attend a local screening and panel discussion of the documentary, The Right to Read, at the historical Tower Theatre on Monday, March 4th at 6 PM.
About the Film:
The Right to Read shares the stories of an activist, teacher, and two families, bringing to light one of the greatest civil rights issues in our country: the national literacy crisis.
Thanks to the generous support of local sponsors, tickets for the film are free to all community members. Spanish translation will be available for viewers and childcare is also offered to those who pre-register. The film will be followed by a short panel discussion, helping viewers better understand the literacy crisis on a local level.
