On Saturday, October 31st, Central Community Church & Highway City Community Development hosted a Fall Festival with carnival games and a resource fair for the entire neighborhood. Nearly 1000 people attending throughout the day, but it was so much more than a carnival!
Kids loved it, families appreciated it and the church was the face of the event. They invited Fresno Fire Department, Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, Valley Children’s Hospital, Community Regional Medical Center, the Fresno County Library, the Red Cross, and more!
Most importantly it was an opportunity for children and families to see “The Church” reaching out to love and serve their neighborhood. That’s what it’s all about – going outside the walls of a church building and into the hearts and lives of the families.
ENP’s role is to help equip and mobilize our Fresno churches to engage in our city! We believe that the gospel changes lives and the church is the key to making the impact.
We are excited about the year ahead as we put a greater focus on providing biblical, Fresno-specific urban ministry training to our church partners.
. . . . .
If you would like to know more about our plans for 2016 or how you can financially partner with Every Neighborhood Partnership, we would like to invite you to join us at our ENP Christmas Celebration on Friday, December 11th. We will celebrate the highlights of the year and share our vision for 2016.
. . . or let’s meet for coffee.
We love to talk about our city!
