ENP is Hiring! Part-Time Book Keeper
ENP is hiring a part-time Book keeper to support our Associate Director.
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This role works closely with our Associate Director to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
Our ideal candidate has at least two years of bookkeeping experience and is familiar with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks or Aplos.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Works 20 Hours
- Remote Work Option After Orientation Phase
- Record day to day financial transactions in accounting software; Aplos
- Verify that transactions are recorded to the correct account, fund, and donor
- Make weekly bank deposits and file digital records accordingly
- Record and process weekly payments to Vendors
- Maintain vendor records
- Manage the bill payment and staff reimbursement systems
- Utilize Asana to organize, track, and update tasks
- Assist in year-end budget planning and tax preparations
- Assist in creating financial and HR systems as led by the Associate Director

ENP is Hiring! Part-Time Bilingual Administrative Assistant
ENP is hiring a part-time (Spanish) Bilingual Administrative Assistant to assist the Neighborhood Development Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Works 20 Hours per week (with potential for full-time, depending upon need)
- Occasionally help facilitate spaces for Spanish speaking community members
- Carry out clerical duties, including scheduling, routing emails, preparing documents, following up on team tasks
- Assist with project management activities utilizing Asana platform
- Maintain and update data sheets including surveys, volunteer logs, warehouse equipment, and others as assigned
- Liaison between Neighborhood Development team and community partners
- Note-taking during team meetings
- Manage special projects as needed
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours
- Other duties as assigned

60 NEW Positions Available for Students to Make a Difference while Paying for College
Fresno State and Every Neighborhood Partnership Collaborate to Launch #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Program
Through a new State initiative, Every Neighborhood Partnership will host 60 Fresno State students (in addition to 40 Read Fresno students) who will serve as literacy mentors in classrooms, run after-school reading intervention programs, and support Saturday Sports at eight local K-12 schools.
The #CaliforniansforAll College Corps initiative is the first of its kind, designed to create opportunities for low-income, first-generation college students to graduate college debt-free while empowering them to serve in their communities. College Corps Fellows will receive up to $10,000 for a total of 450 hours of community service hours during the academic year.
Fresno State was chosen as one of the 48 partner colleges for the College Corps program and has selected Every Neighborhood Partnership as one of the organizations their students will work with.
Students who complete the College Corps program will receive:
- $10,000 ($7,000 living stipend broken into monthly distributions during the academic year, plus a $3,000 Education Award)
- Academic credit
- Real-world job experience to add to a resume
- Training, networking and professional development opportunities
The first cohort of College Corps Fellows will begin in August 2022. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. ENP is expanding our School Support Department with 3 new positions:
- Volunteer Staff Coordinator: Oversee and manage the ENP volunteer and college staff experience from start to finish. Make sure everyone has a smooth onboarding, service experience, and off-boarding. This could include the creation of job descriptions, fingerprinting, connecting to various departments within ENP and the Fresno State Richter Center.
- Extended Learning Coordinator: Manage and oversee college staff and church/community volunteers at ENP’s Extended Learning programming including Read Fresno After School intervention, Saturday Sports, and other community after school programming as needed.
- Literacy Mentor Coordinator: Manage and oversee college staff and church/community volunteers in ENP’s Literacy Mentor program.

Now Hiring: Read Fresno Mentors
Searching to make a difference this year? Read Fresno with ENP works to raise the reading and academic abilities of local elementary school students each year. Read Fresno is now recruiting qualified students for the 2021-22 academic year to serve as mentors. If you qualify, you could earn up to $15.00 per hour. Mentors work approximately 10-15 hours per week, based on work-study eligibility. In order to qualify for one of these openings, you must:
- Be eligible for Financial Aid Work Study funds (the Financial Aid Office has already indicated to us if you are eligible!).
- Have excellent oral and written English language skills.
- Be interested in working with elementary-aged children.

ENP is Hiring an AmeriCorps VIP member!
ENP is partnering with AmeriCorps VIP to hire a full-time, one-year temporary Literacy Mentor Coordinator.
The Literacy Mentor Coordinator will work with volunteers and support the Literacy Mentor Director and Read Fresno Coordinator.
